WELCOME TO OUR SITE

The lycée Bilingue Claude Mafema is a bilingual school complex founded in 1996 by Mrs. Anastasie Ifitsu Mafema. It is located in the suburb of Kinshasa, the capital City of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The school Philosophy lies in Proverbs 22.6, which states "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is older, he will not turn from it." The principle being upheld is to win the children, to teach them moral, spiritual and intellectual character so that they can be saved wholly and that they become good citizens in their daily lives.  About the Founder

Mrs. Anastasie Ifitsu Mafema, the founder of the school, a  fervent Christian and business women lives in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. She was inspired by her concern for the Congolese youth to succeed and strive. She strongly felt that the a good education was the only way to be successful in life.

Mrs. Mafema, a mother of three, was also inspired by the life of her late husband, Claude Mafema to whom she dedicated the school. Being a true follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ, she has modeled the school in the spirit of love and care for children which emphasizing discipline, pride and self determination.   

 Mrs. Mafema is the Vice President of Aglow International Central Africa National Board, and President of the Claude Mafema Foundation.
